Camp Russell | Summer Nature Day Camp | July 21-25

Endangered species are all over the world. Does your child show an interest in animals? Sign them up for Summer Nature Day Camp at the Natural Resource Education Center in Russell Woods Forest Preserve.

The theme for week three is Endangered Species. The camp will take place from July 21-25, from 9 am to 3 pm. This camp is for youth ages 7-9 (campers need to have completed first grade). Youth will learn what makes an animal threatened or endangered. They will explore different animal habitats and the importance of biodiversity through lessons and active learning while playing games.
